Goegle Lampoeng - when will apple tv release date 2012 : Since the publication of Steve Jobs’s biography, wherein Jobs spoke about an Apple TV, information has been surfacing that an Apple TV is in the company’s pipelines.
According to Digitimes, Apple’s supply chains will begin to prep materials for the TV sets beginning in the first quarter of 2012, which would put them on time to meet Apple’s scheduled launch of the products in the third quarter of 2012.
Digitimes also reported that Samsung began making the chips for the televisions, which will be connected to Apple’s App Store, in November 2011. Additionally, the publication noted that Sharp would supply the Apple TV display screen, initially 32- and 37-inches.
The Apple TV isn’t likely to be an iOS touch-screen TV, rather it will be more similar to normal TVs, only it will be controlled by an iPhone or iPad-type device (surely there will be a remote app built for iPhones and iPads as well), which allows for some serious integration options for Apple.
